  • 1861, July 17.  Cornerstone laid;  Alexander Rice Esty, architect
  • 1861,  Dec. 15.  First service in the church
  • 1862,  April 24.  Consecration
  • 1864.   West transept added
  • 1898, April.
    • Last service in old church & renovation began
    • Chancel added; orientation changed from North-South to East-West
    • Francis Richmond Allen, architect
  • 1899, March 5.   Dedication of expanded church
  • 1924, October 1.  Lindsey Chapel consecrated; F. R. Allen, architect
  • 1999.  Four Apostles Window restored
  • 2000.  Sanctuary damaged by electrical fire
  • 2008, Jan. 13.  Emmanuel’s Land Window rededicated
