Sanctuary

SanctuaryOur spacious main sanctuary is the setting for weekly services during the cantata season and for Emmanuel Music’s larger concerts. It has wonderful acoustics for choral, instrumental, and solo concerts, with seating for 600 people.

Lindsey Chapel

This historic gem is long and narrow with a Gothic ceiling. It is a lovely setting for special events:

  • weddings
  • commitment ceremonies
  • concerts
  • discussions
  • dinner parties

Parish Hall

Parish Hall

Constructed in 1906, it remains a meeting place for the people of Boston. This handsome room with wood paneling and a parquet floor has a stage, grand piano, and adjacent kitchen. Events hosted in the Parish Hall include:

  • dinners and luncheons
  • receptions
  • chamber music performances
  • panel discussions
  • meetings of community groups

Music Room

Music Rooom

Located on the second floor and filled with north light, it provides space for rehearsals of choral and instrumental groups. At the head of a broad staircase, this room will soon be  served by a small elevator. It is an attractive venue for events such as:

  • art exhibits
  • concerts
  • music rehearsals

Library

The library on the Mezzanine serves as a quiet reading room and meeting place for small groups. The room accommodates up to 18 participants who can climb stairs.

Basement Meeting Room

Covering about 600 sq. ft., this room has its own bathroom, windows, and an exhaust fan. It also has access to an area for food preparation.

Emmanuel RoomEmmanuel room

Adjacent to the kitchen and Parish Hall, this room has a large table, 2 settees, and dining chairs for seating more than a dozen people.
